Paul Burton
Manager of Safety Services
Paul is an experienced Occupational Safety and Health professional, specialising in the application of OSH into the workplace. He has a wealth of knowledge working across many industries including Manufacturing, Waste Management, Transport and Engineering. With over 20 years of experience, Paul is passionate about his role and is results-orientated.
Paul started his career in Training and Development and very soon branched into other areas of OSH and HR. It wasn’t long before he was heading up OSH/HR teams and leading by example. Paul is a specialist at Hazard and Risk Management in the workplace and won a WorkSafe Safety Award with his last employer. He has developed and facilitates training sessions focusing on Injury Prevention, Risk Management and Occupational Safety and Health.
Being a fanatical Fremantle Dockers supporter, football is a way of life in Paul’s household. Every week during the football season you will either find Paul at the game or watching it in front of the TV.
Paul enjoys spending time with his family and painting 15mm Napoleonic soldiers. At 15mm in size and with so much detail on them, it must drive him crazy! He has hundreds of them which he has been collecting over the years.
Paul lists his other passion as his car, a beautiful 2007 model F6 Typhoon. He doesn’t get to drive it all that often but when he hits the open road, it’s bliss!
